Bus Tour to Nelson
A return bus tour from Rossland to Nelson includes a stop at the Brilliant Suspension Bridge in Castlegar, a walking tour of downtown Nelson by local historians Ron Welwood and Greg Scott, a guided tour of Nelson's newly renovated Canadian Pacific Railway Station by Construction Manager (and conference presenter) Joern Wingender, and a bagged lunch.

"How I Caught the Heritage Bug" - Mark Forsythe
Enjoy gold rush themed cocktails and appetizers at our early registration event hosted by the Rossland Museum and Discovery Centre. Former CBC radio host and four time author Mark Forsythe, will share his growing awareness of heritage values in B.C. and in his own backyard of Fort Langley. Free admission, but please register in advance.

Get out and explore Rossland and Trail with our free walking tours. All you need to do is register in advance! The walking tours (and one carpooling tour) include:

Education is a top priority at the conference. This year we have selected speakers and topics based on our members evaluations from past conferences. Expand your skill sets and earn PIBC and AIBC credits.
Participants are eligible for up to 6.75 CPL LUs (Continuous Professional Learning Units) through the Planning Institute of BC (PIBC) for attending the entire conference and 1.5 Core & Non Core AIBC credits are now available for selected workshops!
