Join Kathryn Molloy, Executive Director of Heritage BC for a workshop that will explore best practices and cost-effective strategies that can be used to assist non profits with their fundraising efforts.

A Night At The Races!

On the evening of Friday September 26, we invite you to join us for an entertaining evening at the Clubhouse at Fraser Downs Racetrack and Casino. Our Annual Awards reception recognizes important contributions in heritage conservation, planning and awareness in BC.  Delicious appetizers, a photo booth with traditional racing props to capture special moments, and our own racetrack teller on hand to place bets – it’s set to be a night of roaring success from starting post to finish line.

Tickets are $35/person - you can order through the Conference Registration form. This is a 19+ event and 2 pieces of ID are required for all guests.

The Cardero Street Heritage Stroll

The West End of Vancouver contains a mixture of distinctive building styles representing successive eras of growth and change. One of the directions from the West End Community Plan calls for the creation of a ‘heritage stroll’.  

Join Holly Sovdi, City Planner for the West End and Heritage expert Anthony Norfolk to explore the dynamic mix of heritage styles in this area.

Saturday, August 23 at 10am. Meet at entrance to Robson Public Market in Vancouver’s West End. Tickets: $15 Non Members and $10 Heritage Vancouver Members.

West End Planning Tour

Join Gordon Price, Director of the SFU City Program and long-time resident, for a planning tour of Vancouver's West End, which will reveal up to eight different architectural stages, from fine wooden mansions to functional wooden walk-ups.

Sunday, September 7, 2014, 10am-12pm.  Meet at Barclay Heritage Square. $15 Non Members and $10 for Heritage Society Members.
