The Awards & Presentation Ceremony

All Heritage BC Awards consist of a framed certificate. Outstanding Achievement Awards and Awards of Honour are presented at the Awards Ceremony which takes place during the Heritage BC Annual Conference, which will be held September 30 - October 1, 2011 in Burnaby.

Submitting a Nomination

Nominations may be submitted by any individual or organization.  No more than two nominations may be made by the same nominator in a given year. The annual submission deadline is March 1st for completed nominations; however, nominations will be accepted at any time.  Nominators that submit incomplete nominations will be contacted once to submit the missing required material in support of their nomination.  Incomplete nominations will not be considered by the jury.

All decisions of the Awards Committee will be final. Submissions may not be re-nominated in subsequent years in the same award category, with the exception of the Ruby Nobbs Award.  Individual phases of large multiphase projects may be nominated, as long as they are clearly distinct from the previously nominated phase of work.

Following review by the awards jury, nominators and successful nominees will be notified by email or telephone.
