Forging Our Future Part III
The Heritage BC Annual Conference will be held October 18 & 19, 2013 at the Shadbolt Centre. This is the third and last in the series of 'mini-conferences' held since 2011 while Heritage BC worked through a challenging period toward a new beginning. It will follow the same format with a full-day program on Friday, October 18th including reports and presentations, keynote speakers, member reports, the AGM and Awards Ceremony. Saturday, October 19th will be a half-day program featuring a heritage bus tour.
The Heritage BC Annual Conference is also an opportunity to celebrate and honour some important successes and achievements – The awards jury will deliberate on May 31, following which nominators and recipients will be informed of the results. Awards presentation will take place on October 18 during the conference.

About the Heritage BC Annual Conference & Awards Ceremony
Heritage BC organizes an annual conference with a focus on a different heritage theme. It offers a great opportunity to hear stimulating keynote speakers, participate in workshops, raise community issues in an open mike forum and attend the Annual General Meeting. Held in a different city every year, the annual conference also includes guided tours to explore the important heritage sites of the host community. Recent achievements across the province are recognized at the Annual Awards ceremony and banquet.
Please note: Although the annual conference is now taking place in the fall, the awards nomination deadline is unchanged.
