Family Day at the Chinese Canadian Museum 2025

February 17 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Included with admission

Heritage Week is an annual event that takes place during the third full week in February. It celebrates and showcases local heritage across the province. This year’s theme, “Pastimes in Past Times,” celebrates the many ways people spent their leisure time throughout history, exploring how these activities have contributed to the cultural fabric of today.

Kick off Heritage Week on Family Day with family-friendly activities at the Chinese Canadian Museum! Spend the day exploring the heritage of the historic Wing Sang building (est. 1889) and partake in activities throughout the galleries. From family portrait crafts, mahjong and Chinese board games, to learning the Chinese family tree, there’s pastimes for everyone that celebrate Chinese Canadian heritage.
