Heritage Week Display at Richmond Children’s Arts Festival

FreeThe Richmond Heritage Commission is hosting a Heritage Week Display at the Richmond Children’s Arts Festival on Family Day, Monday February 17th. The Festival is at the Richmond Cultural Centre, 7700 Minoru Gate, Richmond.
Join the Richmond Heritage Commission in celebrating Heritage Week by connecting to Richmond’s past and explore the many layers and unique stories of Richmond. There will be photos, maps, and info panels highlighting local history and heritage places as well as mini activities for children, including colourizing black and white historic photos and matching wooden block puzzle pieces to complete historic landmarks.
The Richmond Heritage Commission has six members appointed by City Council. The Commission provides advice to Council on heritage conservation, and undertakes and provides support for promotional activities.
