Signature Heritage Tours

Thursday, May 10 (4:00pm)

Heritage BC is Proud to present four amazing tours in beautiful Downtown New Westminster. These guided tours will be a highlight for conference attendees as you will be lead by experts with deep knowledge of their specific tours.

There are some important notes to consider before the tours:

  1. Remember to wear comfortable footwear. Many of the tours will consist of walking for long distances.
  2. Dress appropriately. The lower mainland has ever changing weather. Please ensure you are dressed comfortably.
  3. The HRA, Queens Park and Irving House tours will all meet at the Irving House (photo below).
  4. There is no transportation to the house so you will need to find your own way there. There is no parking at the house but ample parking beside The Museum of the Royal Westminster (photo below).
  5. The Coast Salish Cultural Heritage Tour will meet in the lobby of the Inn at the Quay hotel.
  6. You can contact Nathan MacDonald at 604-710-5657 if you have any questions or concerns.

As an organization of provincial scope, Heritage BC recognizes that its members, and the local history and heritage they seek to preserve, occupy the lands and territories of B.C.’s Indigenous peoples. Heritage BC asks its members and everyone working in the heritage sector to reflect on the places where they reside and work, and to respect the diversity of cultures and experiences that form the richness of our provincial heritage.
