The office building for the Crédit Foncier Franco-Canadien, located at 850 West Hastings Street, Vancouver is valued for its role in enabling French Canadians to acquire mortgages and therefore become property owners in the city. This is significant, for at the time, other banks were refusing mortgage services to Francophones.

The building has been formally recognized by the City of Vancouver with a plaque commemorating its history.
