Constructed in 1929, the “winery building” for BC Distillery Co. was originally three storeys, built with a grain elevator-style cupola and large multi-pane windows. The cupola speaks to the building’s connection to the distillery. Two warehouses were later added on either side of the building.

A preserved remnant of the vast distillery (Braid Street Studios) is slated for redevelopment.
