DESCRIPTION:Family Day at the Cannery \nJoin us for special tours and talks\, family-friendly crafts and activities\, and a special one-day only film screening of Finding Nemo to fill your Family Day with fabulous fish-themed memories. Dive into Family Day at the Cannery! With “fish-tastic fun for the whole family”\, get ready to learn all about the amazing fish in our oceans and the many ways we eat them! Our oceans are full of beautiful\, strange\, and interesting fish\, and canning is only one of the ways that people from all around the world have turned them into tasty meals. \nBring your family to revisit a classic movie in the Cannery’s historic Boiler House Theatre! Join us for a screening of Finding Nemo\, on Monday\, February 16th\, then visit the Cannery to compare the fish from the movie to those that live in the Pacific Ocean!  \nMonday\, February 16th\, 2026 – Finding Nemo screenings: $5 /person. Youth (<18) must be accompanied by an adult.  \nThis year we have an exciting add-on option—join us for a screening of “Finding Nemo” inside our Cannery Boiler House Theatre and experience the fishy fun of this family film. This add-on is only $5 per person (all ages)\, with three screenings during the day. Youth must be accompanied by an adult.\nMovie tickets are on sale now:\nScreening 1: 10:30-12:30pm (doors open at 10:15)  – 10:30 am – Buy Tickets\nScreening 2: 1:00-3:00pm (doors open at 12:45) – 1:00 pm – Buy Tickets \nScreening 3: 3:30-5:30pm (doors open at 3:15) –  3:30 pm – Buy Tickets \nThe Gulf of Georgia Cannery Society operates a National Historic Site and all revenue helps to support the operation of our museum events and programming for visitors of all ages.
