Heritage BC supports all people of British Columbia who champion the preservation and conservation of all forms of cultural heritage, developing awareness, appreciation and respect for B.C.’s built and intangible traditions.

Our conference provides value-added learning and networking opportunities for B.C.’s heritage sector. We advocate on your behalf for the conservation and protection of heritage and we celebrate excellence in heritage with a time-honoured awards program and we create awareness with a wide distribution of Heritage Week posters.

And our work continually expands and develops. Recently, we added to extensive resource guides to our website: “Making a Case for Heritage” and “Heritage Conservation Tools: Resource Guides“, and the “The State of Heritage” will have far-reaching effects with twelve broad recommendations that will support the sector in reaching its aspirations.
