History from the Heart of Sinixt Territory – Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre

Political anthropologist Lori Barkley aims to support Sinixt resurgence in their tmxʷúlaʔxʷ – homeland, and her most recent contribution in the publication Sinixt in the Slocan: The Last 3,000 Years is a continuation of this crucial goal. Lori continues building on her academic research to tell the story of a people fighting their bureaucratic extinction while navigating uncharted waters of Sinixt resurgence. Entry is by donation and all proceeds will be donated to the Autonomous Sinixt. Treats & refreshments will be available.
