Our Indigenous Neighbours – Hands-on-Heritage

Welcomed by Sto:lo people for generations to share the bounty of their territory, lots of ‘others’ have come here for trade, education, health care and community. Meet Indigenous people, local and from other territories who have settled around Mission and learn about their experience. A brief overview of the history of indigenous land and people in the Mission area is included. This will be a welcoming group where you can comfortably ask question and engage. The mission Indian Residential School is only a small part of the story.
