All conference activities will take place at various historic and cultural sites in downtown Kamloops and on the T’kemlúps Reserve. We recommend booking your stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton, as transportation for offsite events will depart directly from the hotel lobby.
Please note that walking short distances (100–500 meters) will be required between venues. We recommend wearing comfortable footwear to ensure ease of movement.
Thursday May 22nd
Accessibility: The day’s sessions and events will be taking place in or around the Kamloops Museum and Archives and downtown core. Please note, as a heritage building, the Historic Courthouse venue offers very limited accessibility for those with mobility concerns. Three flights of stairs are required to access the courtroom where sessions and meals will be served.
Friday May 23rd
Accessibility: The day’s sessions and events will be taking place in or around Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc. Please note, as a heritage building, the Kamloops Residential School venue offers very limited accessibility for those with mobility concerns. It is not wheelchair accessible, stairs are required to access the Chief Louis Assembly Hall where sessions and meals will be served.

The Secwépemc Museum and Heritage Park and Chief Louis Centre is the host for the majority of the sessions and workshops taking place on Friday, May 22. Bus transportation will be provided to and from the museum and centre to and from the DoubleTree by Hilton.
