About the Webinar:
This webinar offers an introduction to Heritage Revitalization Agreements (HRAs). It answer the question of what is an HRA, and delves into the cases and scenarios where an HRA would benefit and be useful for a community or heritage property owner. It focuses on providing specific examples of effective Heritage Revitalization Agreements in British Columbia, how they were approached and why those approaches were effective.
About the Presenters:
James Bolt works as Heritage Planner at the City of Vancouver. The city has been using HRAs since the early 1990s with its own charter, included uses for different types of projects.
Britney Quail works as Heritage Policy Planner at the City of New Westminster, where the city works using HRAs under the Local Government Act.
Elana Zysblat is a Heritage Consultant with Ance Building Services where she works with clients, such as developer, architects or property owners in the interest of their buildings in the HRA process.
