This webinar is the first in a four part series hosted by Vantage Point for Heritage BC. This series was made for board members to learn about how to build a strong foundation for your non-for-profit through the board. In this first webinar you will learn how to define the roles and responsibilities of board members, including core fiduciary responsibilities. It covers appropriate conduct for when conflicts arise, how to differentiate between operational and governance decisions, and finally offers tangible examples of how to apply practices that build effective boards.
Leslie Dyck is a volunteer for Vantage Point, an organization that creates content to equip non-for-profit leaders to lift organizational capacity. She works as a consultant who offers facilitation, capacity building, program evaluation, policy analysis, strategic planning and project management.
