This webinar includes an introduction to the concept of Heritage Conservation Areas (HCAs), an overview of the legal framework in British Columbia that governs HCAs, the features and benefits of developing an HCA for your community and examples of Heritage Conservation Areas from around the province.

Maxine Schleger worked at Heritage BC in 2016 as the Heritage Skills Development and Training Officer. She has a background in Cultural Resource Management with a specialization in Heritage Planning.
