Following this introduction, Amanda Shatzko from the Regional District of North Okanagan, to share her experience gaining buy-in from government on heritage and cultural projects.
Laura Saretsky was the Heritage Program Manager at Heritage BC in 2019. In this role she worked on capacity building and supporting the heritage sector in British Columbia through grant programs, surveys, advocacy and developing learning programs. She has a Masters in Cultural Heritage Management.
Amanda Shatzko is Vice-Chair of the Board to the Regional District of the North Okanagan. She is an artist, politician and is involved in many arts and culture organizations. She holds a Masters in Intercultural and International Communication. She brings a wide spectrum of experiences to her presentation.
