This webinar is set up as a panel discussion to examine how heritage sites and organizations can increase youth engagement. The panelists address what does the term youth mean in the heritage context, and given this definition, how can we engage youth authentically to get them actually involved in heritage.
Britney Quail is the Past President of the BC Heritage Fairs Society, and works as a Heritage Planner with the City of Westminster. She has worked in multiple heritage non-profits, including running education programs at heritage sites.
Keely Bland is a Museum Educator with a MA in Museum studies. She currently works Kamloops Museum & Archives, and previously worked with the Hudson’s Bay Company in Toronto.
Laura Saretsky is the program manager at Heritage BC.
