Skeletons; sawmills; gold; hydro-electricity and conservation, all in one man’s life? Sutton was many things: Timberman, Geologist, Mineralogist, Lecturer, Conservationist, Promoter of Vancouver Island.
Sutton also robbed graves and collected skulls.
Dave McIntosh and Phil Hood present an evening talk and slideshow on the surprising, now mostly forgotten life of Will Sutton, a surprising story of a Ucluelet pioneer entrepreneur and forward thinker, once known across B.C.
