Intake for the 2024 Heritage Legacy Fund (HLF) closed April 26, 2024. In total, we received 94 complete applications with a total ask of $1.8 million. These included 37 applications for Heritage Conservation, 11 for Heritage Planning, 25 for Heritage Awareness and 21 for Indigenous Partnership projects.
After adjudication with 3 juries of 5 members each, 30 applications were recommended for funding with Heritage BC awarding an all-time high amount of $463,000.00. By stream, this includes 9 Heritage Conservation projects, 5 Heritage Planning, 8 Heritage Awareness and 8 Indigenous Partnership projects.
