What We Hold Close Exhibition

North Van Arts is proud to present our latest exhibition at Cityscape Community ArtSpace, What We Hold Close. The exhibition runs from January 23 – February 28, 2026.
What We Hold Close is an exhibition exploring the physical and symbolic spaces of domestic life. From textiles to tortillas, twenty-one artists explore the notion of home – being remembered, being celebrated, the act of leaving, and everything in-between. The artists explore and question what they hold close; what comforts or confines them, and how their relationships to domestic space evolve across generations and geographies.
What We Hold Close presents a multiplicity of perspectives, inviting dialogue around belonging, memory, and the layered nature of home.
