Mark your calendars for BC Heritage Week – February 16-22!

Penticton highlights include:

– Feb. 14-15: Heritage Fair at Cherry Lane Mall featuring the Okanagan Historical Society – Penticton Branch, S.S. Sicamous Marine Heritage Society, Penticton Museum & Archives, South Okanagan Genealogical Society and Friends of the Oxbows. 2111 Main St There will be historical books for sale, table displays, artifacts from private collections and volunteers who will share their knowledge of local heritage and much more. Saturday, February 14 from 9:30-5:30 and Sunday, February 15 from 11-5.

– Feb. 16 at 11:30 am: Presentation by Randy Manuel at Cherry Lane Mall Unit 102. From Horseback to Bike Lanes: Transportation in Penticton. 2111 Main St

– Feb. 17 at 12 pm: Presentation by Chandra Wong at the Penticton Museum & Archives Brown Bag Lecture. Stir the Pot: Celebrating Food as a Form of Heritage. 785 Main St
